My internship at LIA Assurex has been an extremely rewarding experience. I spent 2 months under the guidance of people who want to share their knowledge of the insurance sector with me and helped me apply my academic knowledge into the real business world. I was able to work side by side with the finance department team, in real business settings. Overall, I gained many skills within this internship, from professional skills to personal. I am sure that serving as an intern at LIA Assurex is a great experience to me and my resume, that will help me build the future I dream about.

Having the chance to be a part of LIA Assurex, even for a short period of time has introduced me to the fine idea of innovation and what it is like to be working in a healthy environment that works on promoting growth. The friendly spirit of the employees allowed me to get out of my comfort zone and undergo a range of positions that open several opportunities in the future.

I completed my internship at the Life Department of LIA Assurex. And I appreciate the knowledge and experience gained, the Life team took the time to introduce and explain the different aspects of life insurance and how it operates. Everyone welcomed me and explained the mechanics behind the life policy issuance and their role in the process. As an undergraduate in Actuarial Sciences, I now have a better understanding insurance and feel more confident in my future career path given the guidance received from the team at LIA Assurex.
