This Privacy Notice describes My LIA Assurex Mobile application policies and procedures, use and disclosure of your information while using our online services and informs you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you. By accessing and using My LIA Assurex Mobile application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
Service means My LIA Assurex Mobile Application operated by LIA Assurex S.A.L.
Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to LIA Assurex S.A.L., located at Bab Idriss, LIA Assurex Building, Down Town, Beirut.
User means a unique account created for you to access My LIA Assurex Mobile Application or parts of our Service.
Customer means an individual or entity that uses the mobile application's services or has a relationship with LIA Assurex S.A.L. through the app.
Device means any device that can access My LIA Assurex Application such as a computer, a cellphone, or a digital tablet.

While using My LIA Assurex Mobile Application, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
• Customer’s name, contact details, and addresses.
• Date of birth and marital status
• Insurance policy information and claims history
• Payment details
• Information related to customer’s insurance needs and preferences.
• Health records (such as customer’s medical history, genetic test results and information, prescription history, death certificate and reports on medical diagnoses, tests, and treatment)
• Family medical history
You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct, and complete.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically while using My LIA Assurex Mobile Application.
LIA Assurex S.A.L. may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
• Providing insurance services and processing claims
• Improving LIA Assurex services and offerings
• Responding to Customer’s inquiries and providing customer support
• Administering customer’s account and managing his policy
• Complying with legal and regulatory requirements
• Managing notifications related to policies’ management
• Marketing & Communication activities such as but not limited to (receiving emails, promotions,push notifications…)
LIA Assurex S.A.L. will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations and requirements (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at LIA Assurex’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, city or country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
Your consent to this Privacy Notice followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
LIA Assurex S.A.L. will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Notice and no transfer of Your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
Business Transactions
If LIA Assurex S.A.L. is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Notice.
Law enforcement
Under certain circumstances, LIA Assurex SAL may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

The security of your Personal Data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
If you wish to delete your account or any personal data collected by our app, you can request data deletion by contacting us at: customer-support@liaassurex.com
Please include your account information and a clear request for data deletion.
Once your request is received, we will review it and process the deletion within 2 to 5 business days and notify you upon completion.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on My LIA Assurex Mobile Application and store certain information. You will need to instruct your browser to accept all Cookies. If you do not accept Cookies, you may not be able to access some parts of our website.
If you choose to purchase products or services through our platform, payment transactions will be carried out using a trusted third-party service “Areeba”.
We retain the right to decline or cancel your order at any time, citing reasons such as product or service unavailability, errors in policy or covers or pricing, inaccuracies in your order, or other valid grounds.
Furthermore, we retain the right to reject or cancel your order in cases where fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.
We will not store or collect your payment card details. This sensitive information is directly provided to our trusted third-party payment processor, and their handling of your personal data is governed by their Privacy Policy.

We may update our Privacy Notice from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating it on My LIA Assurex Mobile Application
You are advised to review this Privacy Notice periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Notice are effective when they are posted on My LIA Assurex Mobile Application.
If any provision of this Privacy Policy is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the remaining part shall be unaffected and shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid or otherwise unenforceable part shall be deemed not to be part of this Agreement.
Customer agrees that his use of My LIA Assurex Mobile Application shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Lebanon.
